A sudden Decision
5 months back I took a sudden decision to take up the #100daysofcodechallenge. And posted it on LinkedIn, There was no going back from here. At that time I was not fully aware of what I was entering into 😅 .
The Journey and Learnings ✔️
There was no such plan of what to do, Just one thing was clear, to complete #100daysofcoding. I started with the Big O notation concept and moved forward to data structures. Started solving problems on Leetcode on arrays not gonna lie within a week I was regretting the decision.
I moved to web development decided to do some projects. There was no pattern as such no plan. so the outcome was very diverse. I did a lot of things such as some projects in web development Learned web responsiveness, Tailwind CSS, Did Namaste Javascript series by Akshay Saini, Learned to route, Learned authenticating, Did few projects to showcase what I learned. Also solved data structures, and algorithms problems on leetcode and hackerank(Still I am not a pro in these). Also learned DBMS and Did some small AIML courses. Overall I Completed 5-6 mini projects in web development solved 40-50 problems on leetcode and hackerank. Learned DBMS and some AIML.
Success and Hurdles ⚖️
After completing challenges I was like
I also posted regularly what I did each day on LINKEDIN, some of my posts were in the top 1% of the engagement on LinkedIn, which kept me up.
It was not like everything was Perfect there were some bad days on which I did nothing and that was fine. It took me 110 days to complete 100 days challenge. Overall the learning process was awesome And I was were thankful to myself that I took that instant decision. The commitment which I made on day 1 on LinkedIn made me move forward. I don't know it was the motivation or if I was afraid of failing publicly but it worked, and I am more grateful for that.
If you are reading till here go out and take that challenge best of luck✌️.
